About This Program
Our Addiction Medicine program is based in Joplin, MO, just a 2.5-hour drive to Kansas City and 4 hours to St. Louis. We serve a rural, underserved patient population through comprehensive behavioral health services, including inpatient, outpatient, and crisis care. Fellows gain extensive experience across a diverse array of experiences in both community and inpatient settings. The program emphasizes holistic, patient-centered care, preparing fellows for practice in underserved areas.
