About This Program
We are emerging and growing program ACGME Accredited in 2015 which remains community-based, and community engage. We are a designated NIH Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and offer more research opportunities in our Institute of Neuroscience. This four-county region along the Texas U.S.-Mexico Border is one of the fastest growing in the U.S. We have a beautiful natural environment which includes South Padre Island and its beaches, now home to SpaceX. Our mission is to serve this region.
