Located in Kansas City, a vibrant metropolitan hub perfect for residents and families, the UMKC psychiatry residency program strives to integrate lifelong learning skills into evidence-based practice of psychiatry, multidisciplinary collaboration with other fields, and a team based approach in patient care. Our residents learn to teach, teach to learn, and gain exposure to a variety of psychopathology in general outpatient, inpatient, forensic, consult, and specialized clinic settings.
