About This Program
The University of Mississippi Medical Center's Adult Psychiatry Residency Program is Mississippi's only psychiatry residency program embedded within an academic medical center. We have been continuously accredited since 1957 and have had the privilege to train hundreds of excellent psychiatrists who are well prepared to work in whatever setting they choose, many of whom elect to stay and care for the people of our state.
