University of Connecticut Program
About This Program
We have equal emphasis on biological psychiatry and psychotherapy for all residents. In addition, we have a psychotherapy track that runs through our program from PGY-2 through PGY-4 year. It consists of treating additional patients with various psychotherapy modalities and getting supervision for it. The participants in the track also join a psychodynamic psychotherapy reading group that meets bi-weekly. Residents can join the reading group even if they are not participating in the track.
