Riverside University Health System Program
About This Program
Of Riverside County's 2.5 million residents, it is estimated that 62,00 are uninsured and 256,000 are covered by Medi-Cal. Our program works within the safety net hospital system that provides treatment to those people suffering from mental illness or substance use disorders. We are a unique community program in that we have a robust GME that allows us to interface and learn from many different specialties as well as collaborate on research to improve care to the underserved.
