About This Program
The UCR Psychiatry Residency is the only university-affiliated program in Riverside County. Our mission is to serve medically underserved and structurally vulnerable populations in Inland Southern California. We offer balanced training across academic and community settings, with rotations at county mental health systems, the Department of State Hospitals, two VA systems, and private sites including Kaiser Permanente and Pacific Grove.
