Overview

The UAB Montgomery Psychiatry Residency program offers a strong combination of community-focused training, foundational didactics and intentional involvement in the policy and social constructs that inform health outcomes. From hosting the state's first "Street Psychiatry" clinic to research time dedicated to tackling systems-based issues, the Program fosters the skills necessary to develop community invested physician leaders dedicated to improving access to expert care.
