About This Program

Trainees receive an allowance in the sum of $8500, intended to offset the cost of living in Seattle. The allowance is included in the total compensation schedule which is paid out in each paycheck throughout the academic year. In addition to earning an MPH, our trainees learn to manage occupational injury and illness within one of the most progressive state-based workers' compensation insurance programs in the United States, Washington State Labor & Industries (L&I).
