About This Program
Fellows in Occupational and Environmental Medicine begin clinical training in their first year, including outpatient care, consultation service coverage, and site evaluations with an industrial hygienist. They conduct hazard evaluations and complete rotations in community clinics, corporations, and elective rotations at organizations like OSHA or NIOSH. Didactic training covers epidemiology, biostatistics, toxicology, and industrial hygiene, with an MPH degree option. Fellows undertake research
