In addition to broad-based management of hand, wrist and distal forearm bony pathology training, the Washington University Plastic Surgery Hand Fellowship provides substantial experience in microsurgery, peripheral nerve surgery and the treatment of quadriplegia, contractures, and more unusual pathology. Opportunities for research abound. The fellows also spend one month at Philadelphia Shriners Hospital for Children for a focused and unique congenital hand experience.
