Old Dominion University Program
About This Program
We have a close affiliation with Operation Smile, headquartered in Virginia Beach. Trips for additional cleft training are available to our residents. We have 12 weeks of elective time that can be used for research or month-long rotations off campus. Our community is quite diverse providing the resident with exposure to multiple ethnicities/nationalities. Plastics surgery on-call is done from home with a senior resident providing backup for the more junior resident.
