About This Program
SIU Plastic Surgery utilizes a mentorship model. This model allows for a quicker development of skills, personalized teaching, and the development of autonomy. The program has the option of an embedded hand fellowship. Program pays for Step 3, license renewals, loupes stipend, free conference meeting each year, including paid conference travel for accepted podium presentations. Program has a resident wellness stipend, encourages wellness, and is always evolving to support resident concerns and
