Overview

During the first three years, residents rotate across core surgical disciplines with emphasis on cancer, trauma, cardiac, and transplant surgery, while also gaining early exposure to plastic and reconstructive surgery. The final three years follow a focused-practice model with rotations at UChicago and offsite locations, providing in-depth experience in head/neck trauma, private cosmetic practice, and the full continuum of patient care.
