Fellows will be exposed to the clinical management of brain injury across the continuum of care, including acute trauma and acute rehabilitation, provided at the Penn State Health Rehabilitation Hospital, which includes a 12-bed secure brain jury unit, and Penn State Hershey Medical Center, a level one trauma center for Peds & Adults. At the end of training, the BI fellow should be proficient in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and management of traumatic and non-traumatic brain injury.
