Responsibilities include inpatient rehab unit, consults, outpatient clinic, continuity clinic, research, and QI project. The fellow is trained in phenol neurolysis/motor point blocks, botulinum toxin injections, intraoperative monitoring for selective dorsal rhizotomy, baclofen pumps, US use and EMG/NCS. Fellows get exposure to a great variety of conditions seen in children with disabilities. Their participation in multidisciplinary clinics helps them learn team work and care-coordination.
