University of New Mexico School of Medicine Program
About This Program
Fellows at the University of New Mexico will be members of the only child abuse pediatrics team in the state. New Mexico has a highly diverse population, and is 1 of only 4 U.S. states with a non-white majority population. In addition to rich clinical experiences and high-quality academic education at our Albuquerque campus, fellows will spend time at a rural healthcare center in order to better understand the particular challenges faced by families living in underserved communities.
