The liver transplant program began in 1996, and averages ~15 transplants/year (85 in past 6 years). With a 5+ state catchment area you see the spectrum of pediatric hepatology. You have unparalleled access to the outdoors with 5 National parks in Utah alone (and a schedule permitting skiing, mountain biking, etc.) You will be exposed to the range of clinical hepatology including advanced hepatobiliary surgery (Meso-Rex Bypass, hepatic tumors, and all aspects of pediatric hepatology).
