Overview

The Pediatric ID fellowship at UofL is a 3-yr, ACGME-accredited program. The service sees nearly 500 consults/year at Norton Children's Hospital and around 1000 outpatient visits/year at the Novak Center. Since 1994 out fellows have been evaluating and caring for serious and complicated infections in neonatal and pediatric patients, including immunocompromised hosts. Aside from a robust clinical and educational experience, fellows have the opportunity to complete one or more scholarly projects.
