Overview

Our program provides trainees with robust clinical, research and educational opportunities. The first year focuses on inpatient and outpatient clinical experiences, and the final two years are focused on research with flexibility depending on career plans. Connecticut Children's is the only freestanding children's hospital in the state. Our Fellows participate in the care of children with complex diagnoses including IBD, liver transplant, and short bowel, and become excellent proceduralists.
