The mission of the UAB Peds Pulmonary Fellowship is to train & prepare highly qualified clinicians, educators & physician scientists through exemplary patient care, original research, teaching & QI to be national healthcare leaders & mentors who provide exceptional interdisciplinary care in our field. Training is complemented by UAB PPC which is funded through a competitive federal grant (MCHB /HRSA) which focus on building leadership skills & promoting awareness of childhood resp. disease.
