In 2017, we introduced a Global Health Medicine Track - the 1st of its kind in the NY Metropolitan area-to promote pediatric emergency medicine and acute care programs for children internationally, through leadership, teaching, advocacy, research and clinical skills. This new track enables PEM fellows to meet all required ACGME standards, while at the same time receiving intensive, focused education and experience in the field of international health for children.
