As the sole pediatric hospital and dedicated pediatric emergency department in Mississippi, Children's of Mississippi at UMMC offers an incomparable clinical environment. Being the state's only Level 1 Trauma Center and Burn Center, our campus provides a depth of multi-disciplinary pediatric emergency training. With an annual volume of approximately 45,000 visits and a notably high acuity level reflected by our 23% admission rate, clinicians here gain mastery in managing complex pathology.
