We are the first emergency department exclusively for kids in AZ, with a current annual volume exceeding 100,000 visits and are the first and only level 1 pediatric trauma center in the state. The department boasts 75 private exam rooms which includes 6 behavioral health rooms, 3 procedure/resuscitation rooms, 6 dedicated trauma bays and has a CT scanner located within the department. Weekly protected didactic time includes lectures, board review, POCUS, and simulation.
