The program offers broad-based fellowship with the goal of preparing trainees to apply their academic skills to scholarly investigation both in academic medicine and community practice. Opportunities for training include sedation services with pediatric anesthesiologists, care of pediatric burn patients, transport of critically ill patients, and simulation activities. Coursework for an MPH degree can be integrated into training.
