About This Program

Children's of Alabama is the only Level 1 pediatric trauma center, ECMO center, transplant center, and cardiac intensive care for the state. Curriculum includes a longitudinal point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) curriculum including lectures, hands on sessions, and image reviews. All fellows become independently credentialed in both POCUS and deep sedation during their fellowship.
