About This Program
The EVMS Pediatric Residency Program at CHKD offers fully accredited, 3-year clinical training that qualifies residents for the American Board of Pediatrics. Based at Virginia's only free-standing children's hospital, the program includes 84 resident trainees and 4 chief residents. Since 1962, it has combined expert faculty, diverse patient populations, and inclusive training to build leaders in pediatric care, research, and advocacy.
