The program is located in Central Brooklyn, an area with a diverse and medically underserved population. Our program emphasizes the importance of understanding social inequities and advocating for quality healthcare access. The resident didactic schedule addresses various adult learning styles, optimizes the benefits of small group learning, engages resident learners in more dynamic learning activities, encourages self-directed learning, and provides ample opportunities for resident as teacher.
