About This Program
Blank Children's Hospital is a community-based residency program and is one of two children's hospitals in the state of Iowa. We offer the training of an academic institution in a community hospital. Subspecialties on site range from Pediatric GI to Pediatric Rheumatology. We are home to a Children's Cancer Center, Immigrant/Refugee clinic, and Cystic Fibrosis Center, a Level 3b NICU, a 12 bed PICU, and a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department staffed 24 hours by Pediatric Emergency Medicine b
