Overview

Three strong basic and clinical neuroscience programs at UCI, with which NP fellows can interact closely, include the NCI-designated Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and its neuro-oncology program, the Alzheimer Disease Research Center (ADRC), which has had continuous NIH funding since the nationwide inception of these programs in 1984, and the UCI neuroscience research community, which includes the Interdepartmental Neuroscience Program, the UCI graduate program in the neurosciences.
