Overview

The major aim of the Medical Microbiology Fellowship is to provide trainees with the skills required for the successful direction of a clinical microbiology laboratory as outlined in the Medical Microbiology Milestones evaluation. We accomplish this by exposing the fellow to a large variety and high volume of clinical material in a well-equipped laboratory with an extensive test menu. Fellow rotates through all areas of the laboratory gaining & sharpening skills for independent practice.
