Overview

SUNY Upstate Medical University is a tertiary care center with strong programs in the divisions of adult and pediatric hematology/oncology. In this program, trainees devote time to bone marrow and lymph node morphology interpretation, peripheral smear and body fluid cytology, flow cytometry, cytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, coagulation and platelet studies, automated hematology, erythrocyte studies, cytogenetics and molecular diagnostic techniques.
