Overview

Designed to provide broad exposure to multiple areas of diagnostic hematopathology, general hematology, coagulation, hemoglobinopathies, cytogenetics, and molecular diagnostics. Emphasis is placed on the morphology of lymph node and bone marrow morphology, immunophenotypes, and the molecular biology and cytogenetics in hematolymphoid disorders in both adults and children. Prepares the trainee for successful completion of the hematology examination given by the American Board of Pathology.
