Overview

The hematopathology fellowship at UCSF is a 1-year ACGME-accredited program with emphasis on diagnostic hematopathology and laboratory hematology. The division performs about 600,000 hematology and coagulation tests, and reviews more than 2000 adult bone marrows, 350 pediatric bone marrows, and 700 lymph nodes per year. The fellows have graduated responsibilities with adequate time and opportunities for research projects, teaching, quality improvement, patient safety and educational projects.
