About This Program
The GBI Medical Examiner's Office (MEO) has high-case volume and complexity in an environment supportive of education and academic exploration, with forensic pathology services provided to 155 of 159 Georgia counties. Residents interact with and rotate with on-site crime lab scientists, and work often with a full-time on-site board-certified forensic anthropologist.
