The surgical pathology fellowship at UTMB is 100% digitalized with AI assistance with prostate and breast pathology. All of the cases are previewed on digital format that improves efficiency during sign outs. Fellows get trained prior to examining slides digitally. Assisted diagnosis used mainly by attending pathologists and fellows get direct access during the late half of fellowship.
