University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Program
About This Program
Residents can freely switch between AP/CP and AP-only or CP-only tracks. Residents can take vacation on any rotation (number of days dependent on length of rotation). Electives are available in any year of training. Fellowships can be inserted between years of training after second year. First year residents have a dedicated month to complete autopsies before moving to another rotation. First year residents do not take call. Residents can do study electives in the months leading to Boards.
