Overview

The most unique aspect of Sinai pathology is that we have shifted to nearly 100% digital pathology. Previewing and sign-out happen on computer rather than at a microscope, and it's exceptionally easy to look up old cases for comparison to a current case, tumor boards, and presentations. There are current efforts to incorporate AI and create an educational database of digitized slides. We have regular didactics, unknowns, and resident presentations, and opportunities for med school teaching.
