Overview

CHLA consistently ranks in the top 10 children's hospitals. ASPO's first president was Dr Seymour Cohen (1985) whose practice was at CHLA. Both common and complex disorders are seen in infants, children, and adolescents of a diverse population in one of the nation's largest cities. All ACGME requirements are met/exceeded including the surgical case index. All full-time faculty have received their training from different institutions offering the fellow a variety of perspectives and approaches.
