About This Program

The Hand Surgery Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania provides fellows exposure to a variety of clinical hand conditions from common hand diagnoses to complicated trauma and reconstructions, (microsurgical flaps and nerve surgeries). The hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center including replant call and cares for a wide spectrum of patients. Fellows operate at two pediatric institutions in the city. We also have an active hand transplantation program, with the most recent performed in 2024.
