Overview

Carroll Silver, former Chief of Orthopaedics at Miriam Hospital, through his and his children's generosity, this fellowship was created, providing a unique educational opportunity for our residents. Residents can travel abroad to a developing nation to provide orthopedic care. The concept of the fellowship is to have the resident share their expertise with the physicians in the host country. This fellowship is available to residents for a one-month period during the PGY5 research block.
