Dartmouth-Hitchcock/Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital Program
About This Program
2 residents yearly train at DHMC, including VA and MEE Boston rotations. We serve a wide catchment area in a busy rural academic setting. Faculty of 13 fellowship-trained ophthalmologists, optometry and 2 orthoptists. Clinical subspecialities fully represented and there are no fellows. Integrated surgical PGY-1 concludes with accelerated ophthalmology training, surgical sim and on call shadowing. Residency highlights include continuity clinic, QI, advocacy, travel award and chief resident year.
