Overview

Located at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. As part of a major tertiary and quaternary referral center, residents experience the full spectrum of eye care, from primary eye examinations to complex ophthalmic diseases from every subspecialty. Residents rotate through the Lions Clinic (UAB Callahan Eye Hospital), Cooper Green Mercy Health, the Birmingham Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, University Hospital, and a number of faculty based private practices.
