VCU offers many educational opportunities- simulation labs, EMIGS training, research mentoring, and board review opportunities. Residents are given the opportunity to attend regional/national conferences; away electives in the third year; and fourth year are given time to interview and study for boards. Additionally, we have a strong tradition of outstanding camaraderie among the residents and between the residents and faculty.
