About This Program
KP Oakland attracts applicants who are looking for a combination of superb academic training in clinical medicine and surgery in a department dedicated to providing just and equitable care to a diverse patient population. We are committed to offering an experience that is both challenging and supportive, and a curriculum that is balanced and focused on individual pursuits. Approximately 50% of our graduates successfully pursue fellowship, while the remaining 50% seek generalist positions.
