Overview

This one-year program provides fellows the opportunity to train at VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA, a comprehensive stroke center with an average of 1000 stroke patients a year. Fellows will treat patients with ischemic stroke, TIA, cerebral hemorrhage, and subarrachnoid hemorrhage. This is an inpatient-focused experience including outpatient clinics and cross-training with neurosurgery, neuro-critical care, neuroradiology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
