Dedicated neuroscience floor with a 13 bed stroke/step-down unit including a 5-bed EEG monitoring unit. Central New York's first and only Comprehensive Stroke Center. Upstate University Hospital has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association's Get With The Guidelines--Stroke Gold Plus Achievement Award with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus. Interventional Radiology exposure provided.
