Overview

The University of Iowa Stroke Program is one of the oldest in the Midwest. The TOAST criteria and the NIH Stroke Scale were developed by our program. We are part of the StrokeNet and have multiple collaborations with other centers in the US and internationally. The program is tailored to train leading stroke neurologists in academia and private practice.
