Mayo Clinic Hospital is a Joint Commission-certified primary stroke center. The fellowship is specifically designed for those who wish to pursue a career in academic neurology or in a group or private practice. You will be exposed to patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic cerebrovascular diseases. Patients are referred directly to the Department of Neurology by Mayo Clinic physicians, the emergency medicine specialists of Mayo Clinic Hospital's Acute Stroke Service, and others.
