Overview

The fellowship provides EMU and outpatient epilepsy training, as well as extensive experience with cEEG studies in the ICU. Time is divided equally between the adult and pediatric services. Training emphasizes the fundamentals of EEG, clinical evaluation and management of epilepsy and its co-morbidities and the integration of the history, EEG, neuropsychological testing and imaging to plan and interpret intracranial studies. Fellows learn Wada testing, functional mapping and intraoperative ECOG.
